Le Mg(OH)2 est un retardateur de flamme en plastique et en caoutchouc, \u00e0 faible d\u00e9gagement de fum\u00e9e, et sans halog\u00e8ne. Dot\u00e9 d\u2019un excellent effet retardateur de flamme, il peut remplacer l\u2019hydroxyde d\u2019aluminium. Le MgO est utilis\u00e9 pour les caoutchoucs synth\u00e9tiques, notamment le CR et le CSM, pour activer la vulcanisation, la protection anti-br\u00fblure et la neutralisation des acides.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
