Il Mg(OH)2 \u00e8 un ritardante di fiamma nei materiali plastici e nella gomma, senza alogeni e a bassa generazione di fumi. Ha un eccellente effetto ritardante e pu\u00f2 sostituire l\u2019idrossido di alluminio. Il MgO viene utilizzato nelle gomme sintetiche, tra cui la CR e la CSM, per attivare la vulcanizzazione, la protezione anti-bruciature e la neutralizzazione degli acidi.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
