Mg(OH)2 is a low smoke zero halogen flame retardant of plastic and rubber. Excellent flame retardant effect and can replace aluminum hydroxide. MgO is used for synthetic rubbers including CR and CSM to activate vulcanization, anti-scorching and acid neutralization.
